Whale of an experience

A number of Sydney boat operators run whale watching excursions along the coast outside Sydney heads.

The boats venture out of Sydney heads and cruise up and down the coast some kilometres out from Bondi, Coogee and Maroubra beaches on the southern side, and Manly, Dee Why and Collaroy beaches on the northern side.

The cruises last from 2 to 4 hours.
