Full climb details and bookings

Standing on top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge arch offers the best view of Sydney and the harbour - day or night - and now you can enjoy the climb of your life with BridgeClimb Sydney.

This is the bridge that the world knows as an icon of Sydney. It's also the bridge that the star of famed Australian movie Crocodile Dundee, Paul Hogan, used to work on in his previous life as a rigger on the bridge. Now you can climb the bridge and walk across the arched span in the same way that Hogan did in his former day job.

The bridge climb is run by BridgeClimb, which makes sure climbing and walking across the bridge is as safe as walking down George Street, Sydney's main street.

Access to the top is via steel stairways with guardrails. Climb leaders act as your guide and participants suit-up in specially designed outdoor gear. A safety belt is worn around the waist and chains are attached to the belts and guardrails to ensure climber safety. It's not an arduous or difficult climb, however people with disabilities or respiratory problems are advised not to attempt the climb.
