SYDNEY MARKETS

Paddington Markets

Many of the Australian designed and made artifacts are sold selectively to the Market and won't be found in shopping centre or malls.

While you're here visit the Australian Made Section located in the Courtyard and sample the variety of local breads and handmade chocolates. If you want to rest those feed and just take in the ambience sit under one of the trees and have a bite to eat with a hot coffee and listen to the live music each Saturday.

Before leaving buy some fresh flowers or even a bonsai plant to add some colour and fragrance to your home.

Paddington Market is open every Saturday from 10:00 to 16:00 (10:00 to 17:00 over the summer months).

The Market is located on a busy Paddington shopping strip where you can relax with a coffee or browse the more than one kilometre of shops spread along Oxford Street opposite the school grounds.

To get to Paddington Market just catch bus 380 that departs from Circular Quay or the 378 from Central Station. A one-way bus trip costs around $AUD3.00. If you're feeling energetic, and it's a nice day, then a walk along Oxford Street heading east. The walk will take about 45 minutes.

Paddingtom Market supports people local to the area who are impassioned about the local community and their craft.
